Welcome to Waterpolo at Mount Maunganui College.

Official Senior Season (Year 11-13) - Term 1 & 2
Official Junior Season (Year 9-10) - Term 3 & 4​​​​​​​

Training @ Baywave
Wednesdays 7:30am - 8:30am 

Sundays 10:ooam - 12.00pm

Local competition - Thursday after school @ Baywave or Toi Ohomai

Note, first training session for all senior students wishing to play Waterpolo this year is Wednesday 9 February at 7.30-8.30am at Baywave. 

Teams are also able to participate in the NZ Secondary School events:

  • Seniors - North Island Championships, New Zealand Secondary School Championships
  • Juniors - North Island Championships​​​​​​​ with the option of more for development purposes

Costs

Senior league - local comp between $240 - $350

Traveling competitions (NISS and NZSS) - Minimum of $500 per comp. 

Junior league - local comp $240 

Traveling competitions (NIJSS and Challengers cup) - minimum of $500 per comp.
